Health safety Management, LEAN Manufacturing, Manufacturing and Quality, Production/ Operation Management
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
Handicraft, Furniture Manufacturer, Manufacturing (Light Engineering & Heavy Industry)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Work with the Production Manager to ensure good plans are made and delivered on a regular basis and on time.
∎ Day to day responsibility to ensure that targets and quality standards are met, that direct costs and overhead costs are in alignment with the business plan.
∎ Execute process improvement using methods such as Lean, Kaizen to improve efficient use of labour, raw materials and other resources such as factory space, electricity and water etc. in specific given areas to deliver on time, on cost and on quality in order to support of the profitability goals of the business.
∎ Work closely with HR on labour issues - character and skill development, absenteeism, quality training for the workers etc.
∎ Work to grow leadership, technical capacity and character from the production team.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 18 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Excellent people skills and be able to communicate with clarity in English and Bengali.
∎ A results oriented mindset.
∎ Strong analytical skills in a technical environment.
∎ Excellent computer literacy skills.
∎ Track record in continuous improvement using Lean manufacturing processes
∎ Personal discipline to insist on the highest standards.
∎ A team player, with strong personal values including honesty, integrity, and an interest in ethical business.
Salary: Tk. 25000 - 28000 (Monthly)
