Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Planning and Scheduling: A Production Officer is responsible for creating and managing production schedules, ensuring that inspection stage of manufacturing is properly planned and executed.
∎ Monitoring and Oversight: They monitor the production process to identify potential issues and make adjustments to schedules as needed.
∎ Quality Control: They ensure that products meet required quality standards through inspections and testing.
∎ Compliance: They are responsible for ensuring that manufacturing processes (inspection stage) comply with relevant industry regulations and standards.
∎ Maintenance and Equipment: They may also be involved in supervising the maintenance of production equipment and facilities.
∎ Problem Solving: They may troubleshoot equipment malfunctions or process issues that arise during production.
∎ Documentation: They are responsible for maintaining accurate records and documentation related to production processes, including standard operating procedures (SOPs).
∎ Training and Support: They may be involved in training production staff and providing support to ensure efficient operations.
∎ Coordination: They coordinate with other departments, such as warehouse and engineering, QA & QC to ensure a smooth flow of production.
