∎ Oxfam is a global movement of people working together to end the injustice of poverty.
∎ Do you have at least 8 years of relevant experience in emergency and development work, including 5 years in a managerial or leadership role?
∎ Have you managed the full project cycle, including annual planning and budget development?
∎ Do you have a strong understanding of community emergency issues and experience working directly with local NGOs, partners, or communities in areas such as community mobilization, livelihoods, climate change, and gender and diversity inclusion?

∎ The Programme Coordinator (PC) is responsible for overseeing project implementation, including financial management, compliance, and effective coordination with thematic leads. The role promotes safe programming in collaboration with sector leads, advisors, and managers. The PC is also accountable for ensuring that community participation informs programme decisions, fostering a strong partnership approach and adhering to feminist principles, with a focus on understanding and addressing power dynamics.

Compensation & Other Benefits:
∎ Salary & Benefits: as per Oxfam National C2 pay band, starting annual salary for this role is BDT2,104,742.00 (13 months) with other benefits e.g., medical for self, spouse and children, contributory provident fund, gratuity, leave, life insurance, mobile allowance, and other admissible benefits as per the organizational policy. For highly competent & experienced candidates the salary can be negotiable.
