Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Overall implementation and overseeing the Skilled Girl Force program, Young mother support group program, and other relevant program.
∎ Work very closely with SRH and ASRH program specialist of UNFPA to deliver the output of the targeted interventions on ASRH. Researching and analyzing the existing tools and contributing in the development of culturally appropriate ASRH tools and training materials small scale research with the potential skilled girls under the technical guidance of ASRH program specialist of UNFPA.
∎ Established and maintain a reporting mechanism that include designing of M&E, documentation of each steps, creating innovative actions through this intervention.
∎ Develop ASRH curriculum from other available ASRH tools along with KOBO questionnaires for collecting baseline and end line data.
∎ Develop agenda and questionnaire to explore the knowledge, attitude and practice of caregivers and Majhis regarding ASRH in the ASRH Leadership Program (community dialogue).
∎ Conduct the community dialogues with caregivers and Majhis (community leaders) at the first session, so that Mentors can learn and carry on themselves with the rest of caregivers and Majhis later.
∎ Capacity building training with ASRH mentors on ASRH sessions, ASRH leadership program with caregivers and Majhis and other technical support to the day to day implementation of activities by AHRH mentors.
∎ Participating in the SRH working group, ASRHiE Technical Team, health sector and child protection group to represent ASRH needs and challenges based on the evidence.
∎ Prepare monthly, quarterly, activity-wise report, case studies and submit to UNFPA ASRH team.
∎ Generate new ideas on ASRHR through the interventions and linking them with community SRHR programmes.
∎ Any other tasks deemed necessary to achieve the project objectives according to the request of higher authority.
∎ Purpose of the job:
∎ Partners in Health and Development (PHD) is a national development organization in Bangladesh that has been working in the public health sector over 32 years and currently implementing different projects around the country. PHD intends to hire one competent ‘Programme Officer- ASRH’ for proposed Community Based Maternal, Neonatal Sexual & Reproductive Health Program (MNRHP) for the Rohingya & Host Community, of Cox’s Bazar district.
