Education:
∎ Advanced University Degree in Social Science (Master’s degree or equivalent) from any reputed educational institution, preferably in Law/ Public Administration/ Political Science/Economics/Statistics/ Human Rights or other relevant discipline is required, Or
∎ A first-level university degree (bachelor’s degree) in the areas mentioned above in combination with an additional two years of qualifying experience will be given due consideration in lieu of the advanced university degree.

∎ Minimum 2 years (with Master´s degree) or 4 years (with Bachelor´s degree) of relevant experience in human rights and democratic governance sectors and relevant work experience with key public oversight institutions is required.
∎ Experience and excellent understanding of human rights-based approach, administrative reform, democratic governance, and SDGs issue is required.
∎ Sound knowledge and experiences in reporting and capturing of action learning, innovations, and good practices is required.
∎ Substantive expertise in human rights and governance programming particularly in integration of rights-based approaches in programming is required.
∎ Demonstrated ability in managing resources and budgeting, and project monitoring and results reporting required.
∎ Experience in the usage of computers and office software packages is desired.
∎ Previous working experience with development agencies and/or public oversight institutions, international organizations, CSOs are highly desired.
∎ Knowledge of people centric development initiatives, practices and development organization’s proceedings is an asset.
∎ Fluency in English and Bangla is required.
