Job Context:
∎ DASCOH Foundation is looking for dynamic Project Coordinator for its "Climate Resilient Agricultural Advancement in Barind (CRAAB)" project, a multidimensional project supported by Hong Kong and Shanghai Banking Corporation (HSBC) through Syngenta Foundation for Sustainable Agriculture.
∎ The primary objective of the CRAAB project is to enhance the utilization of natural resources such as soil, water, and plants by promoting the adoption of climate-smart agricultural practices for production, adaptation, and mitigation in the Barind region. The project aims to achieve this by improving irrigation efficiency, increasing farm productivity, and establishing local agribusiness opportunities through a robust public-private stakeholder network. As a result of these efforts, the well-being of 25,000 farmers residing in the Barind area is expected to significantly improve.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Collaborate closely with the project management team to develop a comprehensive and actionable implementation plan and strategy for the field level implementation. This plan should encompass key milestones, deliverables, and resource requirements.
∎ Regularly conduct field visits to ensure the smooth progress of the assigned project activities, actively engaging with stakeholders, and promptly addressing any challenges that arise to keep the project on track.
∎ Efficiently manage field team and resources, ensuring satisfactory progress and successful project outcomes while overseeing team performance.
∎ Coach, mentor, and motivate project team members, stakeholders, and farmers, influencing them to take positive action and accountability for their assigned work.
∎ Organise and facilitate capacity building events (training, workshop, meeting, learning-sharing, exchange visit) inside or outside the project. Ensure logistic support arrangement for all the events related to the project.
∎ Provide technical support to the project team and ensure the adaptation of new technologies among the project beneficiaries.
∎ Cultivate strong relationships with project partners, relevant government officials, private stakeholders, and donors followed project guideline and DASCOH management directions.
∎ Meet donors' requirements and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) by providing accurate and timely reporting to both DASCOH management and the donor. Monitor project progress, document achievements, and address any deviations from the project plan.
∎ Efficiently manage people and resources to ensure satisfactory progress and successful project outcomes. Oversee team performance, provide guidance and support, and optimize resource allocation for maximum project efficiency.
∎ Direct and manage project activities, finances, and other resources in line with DASCOH policies and donor requirements. Additionally, delegate tasks and responsibilities to appropriate personnel.
∎ Prepare and submit monthly/quarterly/six-monthly/annual quality reports to the authority, produce quality event reports for training, seminar, workshop, donor visits, and other incidents to be submitted to counterparts, and regularly create field visit reports with constructive feedback for improvement to be shared with team members.
∎ Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability to assume any other specific areas of responsibility assigned by management as needed.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 50 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ The candidate must have 5 years' experience in managing and implementing of a multidimensional Climate Resilient Agricultural Project in any national or international organisation.
∎ Must have team management experience and knowledge in financial management, working under pressure and timely completion of quality deliverables.
∎ Working experience in Barind area with ethnic, Dalit, person with disability other marginalized communities will be considered as an advantage of the candidate.
∎ Demonstrates community situation analytical knowledge.
∎ Exhibits proficiency in report writing in both Bengali and English.
∎ Possesses attractive presentation and facilitation skills.
∎ Valid motorcycle driving license is a must for candidacy.
∎ Skills in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and internet browsing are required.

Salary: Negotiable
