Job Context:
∎ Human Relief Foundation - HRF is a British charity established in 1991 that has expanded its humanitarian and development activities in 20 countries, including seven permanent offices strategically located worldwide. HRF launched its work in Bangladesh immediately after the Rohingya influx in 2017. HRF has been directly working with implementing partners on Bangladesh`s health, primary education, livelihood, shelter, WASH, vocational education, and child protection and protection sectors. HRF has been implementing Multi-Sector Assistance for Displaced Rohingya and Host Populations in Bangladesh. The project is implemented through local partners who have relevant experience and expertise.
∎ The Project Coordinator is a leading position in the Education in Emergencies (EiE) and Vocational Education team of the HRF Education Section. This position is expected to guide the partner team, ensure coordination and communication with Camp Management, GOB officials, different UN & other organisations, Food Security and Education Sector, ensure Community Mobilization, reporting and provide support to the partner organisation to establish Learning Center & Vocational education centre in the Camp and host community. S/he communicates and provides a leadership role in updating Education in Emergency and Vocational Education activities and timely submission of all reports to the Head of Programmes. S/he is responsible for safeguarding Learning Center & Vocational Center teachers and staff.
