Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Develop Annual Implementation Plan with quarterly breakdown based on agreed Scope of Works with Milestones and Indicators at different levels and intervals
∎ Lead planning process to transform PHD’s technical inputs to MNRHP at the project, working groups under health sectors and field level by ensuring equitable distribution of tasks
∎ Provide technical guidance to all project and field staff to internalize concept and objectives of MNRHP, so that project personnel at different hierarchy could develop their individual work plan efficiently and better linked within AWP
∎ Introduce various tools and techniques for ensuring supportive supervision of field activities by each hierarchy staff at regular intervals along with corrective measures for improvement
∎ Represent PHD’s management in communicating with different forums and donor counterpart
∎ Maintain coordination with different stakeholders at Government, Non-government, Health Sector, Sexual Reproductive Health working Group, Community Health Working Group, and Adolescent Sexual Reproductive Health Technical Committee Development Partners and other actors for assuring a successful buy-in mechanisms
∎ Conduct field visits to monitor and oversee the field activities, and provide necessary feedbacks for corrective measures and further improvement
∎ Develop functional linkages to establish potential networks with relevant government functionaries, implementing partners, other agencies, professional bodies and institutions at camps, upazilas and district level
∎ Ensure effective coordination and communication with PHD’s top and senior management team
∎ Develop monitoring mechanism to review progresses of interventions according to the AWP
∎ Provide necessary guidance and hands-on assistances to the project staff for improving effectiveness and quality of work
∎ Conduct survey to capture community opinions regarding quality of services and level of satisfaction for assuring Accountability to Affected Population (AAP)
∎ Provide technical guidance in ensuring data accuracy, data interpretation and evidence-based decision making
∎ Ensure an effective and comprehensive project documentation that includes, success stories & cases, good practices & lessons and so on
∎ Assist finance team in preparing and controlling budgets
∎ Deliver Monthly, Quarterly and Annual Progress Report to PHD Management
∎ Partners in Health and Development (PHD) is a national development organization in Bangladesh that has been working in the public health sector over 30 years and currently implementing different projects around the country. PHD intends to hire one competent ‘Project Coordinator’ who will be expected to be a technical expert with adequate knowledge and skills having responsibility to ensure the deliverables according to the approved UNFPA funded Annual Work Plan (AWP). He/she will be assigned to lead the team in executing Community based maternal, neonatal & Sexual and Reproductive Health program for Rohingya & Host communities with the aim to increase availability and use of integrated sexual and reproductive health services among the Women and Girls, including family planning, maternal health and HIV, which are gender-responsive, aligned with human rights standards for quality of care and equity in access.
