Job Context:
∎ Partners in Health and Development (PHD) is a Bangladeshi development organization has been working in the public health sector over 32 years and currently implementing different projects in 21 districts. PHD intends to hire a competent Project Coordinator (PC) for a project relating to climate change Resilient Health Systems and Communities; A pathway to improved Sexual and Reproductive Health & Rights which is supposed to implement in Sunamganj District in support of UNFPA, funded by SIDA.
∎ Objectives: To lead a team to achieve the overall goal of the project by effective and efficient implementation of the planned project activities. Incumbent will provide clear strategic and technical direction for the implementation of the project in Sunamganj districts and accountable to plan, implement and monitoring the project with close cooperation of the stakeholders (government, local government, and donor) and other high-level government forum at district level to achieve desired results of the project.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ The incumbent to ensure effective collaboration between and among implementing partners, stakeholders and other organisations to share knowledge and skills to identify appropriate input required for achieving scale as well as sustainable results.
∎ Coordinate the process for capacity and vulnerability assessment at both facility and community level and design Climate resilient interventions to contribute to develop a Climate Change resilient society, in alignment with the assessment findings
∎ Provide technical guidance for development of training and capacity building interventions in support to orient community stakeholders' in the adaptation of changes in lifestyle to survive from possible direct and indirect adverse impacts to health due to climate changes.
∎ Ensure that the programme implementation comply with donor and consortium lead's contractual obligations and that all reporting is of good quality and is done in a timely manner
∎ Work closely and in consultation with district health management and PHD senior management and field-based staff in the implementation of the interventions. Responsibilities will also include to ensure the project are implemented in accordance with the agreed contracts and budgets, and safety and security of the staffs
∎ Identify the capacity gaps and providing technical assistance and capacity building to the project staff to ensure the work plan is implemented within budget and in the prescribed time period
∎ Participate in meetings and reviews and undertake monitoring missions to assess progress of implementation, field monitoring visits
∎ Prepare monthly reports, quarterly reports and case studies and review other reports
∎ Any other assignment given by the PHD Management

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 30 years
∎ Minimum 7 years' progressive experience in health program management including with 3 years at senior management level;
∎ Experience of working with the government specially with the Health and Family Planning Department and well acquainted with
∎ Demonstrative experiences of implementing health and development programs in costal belt and conversant with climate change resilience interventions
∎ Experiences/exposure to the management of primary level hospitals (UHCs) including service delivery systems and procedures followed by the government;
∎ Proven experiences of providing TA support to District and UHC level health services and familiarity with government's inputs and accountability mechanisms.
∎ Experiences of ensuring stakeholders' support and mobilization of resources from local government institutions and other civil society organisations.
∎ Monthly performance analysis and review of MIS data and provide timely feedback to the Government as well as to the appointing authority.
∎ Technical support for Monitoring, Evaluation, and generation of narrative reports.
∎ Good interpersonal skills and working in diverse teams.
∎ Ability to work in demanding situation

Salary:
∎ Tk. 80000 (Monthly)
∎ Including all benefits
