∎ Experience working with informal waste and sanitation workers to enhance their livelihoods.
∎ Understanding of social business models in waste management and mentoring sanitation workers for business engagement.
∎ Proven skills in capacity-building material development, event facilitation, monitoring, and knowledge dissemination.
∎ Ability to manage multiple responsibilities, prioritize tasks, and work efficiently under pressure.
∎ Strong English writing, analytical, communication, and report-writing skills.Proficiency in MS Office, Outlook, and other relevant software.
∎ Experience working in multicultural teams.Willingness and ability to travel independently.
∎ Excellent facilitation, coordination, team management, reporting, and presentation skills.

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Support partners in daily plastic collection from land-based systems (bottle bins).
∎ Lead market linkage efforts for Pyrolysis oil and Black carbon in collaboration with private sector partners and local stakeholders.
∎ Coordinate with stakeholders and partners to ensure the availability of feedstock.
∎ Maintain records of daily data for land-based systems and communicate with operating partners and local officials.
∎ Support awareness-raising campaigns and conduct school/college-level awareness sessions.
∎ Assist in planning meetings, workshops, and project events, and compile meeting reports.
∎ Work closely with partners to achieve project targets.Gather case studies, best practices, and success stories from communities and partners.
∎ Organize and facilitate trainings, behavior change campaigns, and demonstrations of plastic waste collection, transfer equipment, and infrastructure services.
∎ Deliver trainings, presentations, and capacity-building activities for diverse audiences.
∎ Capture and disseminate project learnings on external platforms and within Practical Action’s regional and country offices.
∎ Collaborate with colleagues to track project progress and provide updates to senior management.Frequently travel to project sites as required.
∎ Provide technical input and suggest implementation options to enhance private sector participation in plastic value chains.
∎ Identify potential collaborations with private sector players, including corporate social responsibility (CSR) opportunities in plastic recycling.
∎ Stay updated on the latest technologies, innovations, and global developments related to private sector engagement in waste management.
∎ Leverage public-private partnership opportunities for sustainable waste management solutions.
∎ Engage with government stakeholders at local and national levels to promote waste worker cooperatives and develop policy advocacy aligned with government strategies.
∎ Participate in meetings, workshops, and conferences organized by the Government of Bangladesh, donors, and international development organizations.Share grassroots learnings and insights to influence policy and programmatic decisions.
∎ Support administrative tasks at the national level in coordination with the country office’s People & Culture, Finance, and General Support Service departments.
∎ Ensure effective financial management in alignment with organizational policies at the local level.
∎ Based in Faridpur, the Project Coordinator will be responsible for organizing and facilitating key activities at both national & field level under the assigned DMDP funded Project. Mainly documentation, best practices, story collection, knowledge product preparation and overall support to establish plastic value chain.
∎ Programmatic Responsibilities:
