Educational Requirements:
∎ B.Sc. in Civil Engineering from any Public University.
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 20 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Vast experience in supervision & execution for construction of Multi-storied Residential, Commercial, Industrial Building projects including pile, basement, super structure, sanitary & plumbing, electrical, Fire Fighting system and total finishing works of the building as per architectural and structural design as well as Contract Agreement. And well conversant with electro-mechanical Drawings.
∎ Communication with Employers/Consultant, design professionals and other stake holders and assist in resolving matters such as work procedures, complaints and construction.
∎ Prepare project schedule in soft wares maintaining conformity as submitted to Client / Consultant as well as labor contractors, vendors, engineering team.
∎ Evaluate all costs associated with each project including materials, costs of labor and time. Must have budgeting and cost management abilities, assessing estimated costs early in the project and bringing the actual costs in line.
∎ Take measures to ensure compliance with safety rules of local standard (BNBC), and Contractor's work safety, health safety and environment protection (HSE) standards during the progress of Work and review the safety standards for the overall manpower engaged in the construction.
∎ Makes sure all projects and undertakings stay on budget and within the projected time schedule with quality assurance and quality control management.
∎ Company claims including variations, interim payments & final accounts and preparation of close out/completion report.
∎ Allocate work on a periodic basis to team members and ensure availability of resources for each individual to accomplish assigned tasks.
∎ Manpower, equipment & resource planning for proper execution of works within schedule time.
∎ Must have sound knowledge in Govt./Semi-govt. current Schedule of Rates, detailed analysis of items of works and prepare PBOQ as per Government/Semi-Government/Autonomous Organization SOR for construction works.
∎ Any other engineering task assigned by the top management.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum 20 years works experience in construction field out of this at least 10 years experience in similar position.
∎ Must be skilled in the use of computer including MS Office, MS Project, Excel, Power Point Presentation.
∎ Must possess exceptional organizational and time management skills ability to work under pressure.
∎ Excellent skills on English, - Speaking, Reading, Writing and Listening.
∎ Interpersonal skills and sound communication skills is essential.
∎ Must be energetic, very hard working, loyal and honest & have capability to manage construction site efficiently
∎ Capable of sourcing sub-contractors, handle contractors, workers, clients and other stakeholders.
∎ Must have the knowledge of latest technology and finishing woks conforming Building Codes and practices.
∎ Must be flexible with working nights, weekends and holidays.
∎ Position for immediate appointment
