∎ Master’s degree in Development Studies, Public Administration, Sociology, Governance, Social Work, or any relevant field.

∎ Minimum 5–7 years of experience in project management in the development sector, preferably with a focus on civic engagement, governance, inclusion, or rights-based programming.
∎ Proven experience working with marginalized communities, including Dalits, women, and youth.
∎ Demonstrated experience in managing donor-funded projects and multi stakeholder partnerships.
∎ Experience in participatory research, advocacy, and campaign planning is highly desirable.
∎ Strong leadership and team management skills.
∎ Excellent communication, facilitation, and negotiation skills.
∎ In-depth understanding of inclusive governance, civic rights, and gender equality.
∎ Ability to design and manage MEL frameworks.
∎ Financial and administrative oversight capacity.
∎ High proficiency in Bangla and English, both written and spoken.
∎ Proficiency in MS Office and digital platforms; experience with mobile apps or ICT tools is a plus.

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Lead the planning, implementation, and monitoring of all four project outcomes and associated activities.
∎ Ensure that project objectives, deliverables, and targets are met within timelines and budget.
∎ Oversee participatory research, stakeholder mapping, civic engagement processes, and model union initiatives.
∎ Supervise project staff and consultants, ensuring clarity of roles and effective team coordination.
∎ Conduct regular team meetings, set performance targets, and ensure capacity-building of project staff.
∎ Foster partnerships with local government institutions (Union Parishads, Upazila offices), CSOs, youth networks, and media outlets.
∎ Organize and facilitate dialogues, community meetings, advocacy forums, and sensitization workshops.
∎ Oversee the development and use of MEL tools to track progress on activities and outcomes.
∎ Lead documentation of project learnings, challenges, success stories, and best practices.
∎ Contribute to donor reports, internal evaluations, and knowledge dissemination.
∎ Manage project budget in close collaboration with Finance Officer.
∎ Ensure compliance with donor regulations, financial reporting standards, and DALIT’s internal policies.
∎ Support in donor liaison and project audits.
∎ Supervise the design and execution of media campaigns, digital outreach, and information dissemination tools (e.g., posters, app, policy briefs).
∎ Represent DALIT at external meetings, networks, and platforms relevant to the project’s focus.
∎ Position Summary:
∎ The Project Manager will be responsible for the overall leadership, coordination, and management of the two-year project focused on enhancing civic engagement, inclusive governance, and policy dialogue. The role will ensure timely delivery of project outcomes, manage budgets and teams, coordinate with stakeholders, and ensure learning, monitoring, and reporting mechanisms are in place. The Project Manager will also serve as the primary liaison between DALIT and donors, government stakeholders, and civil society partners.

∎ Working Conditions:
∎ Based in the field office with regular travel (60–70%) to union and upazila levels.
∎ Must be willing to engage directly with communities, including hard-to-reach areas.
