Job Context:
∎ DASCOH Foundation is looking for a dynamic Project Manager (PM) for "Combating impacts of climate change in severely affected areas of Bangladesh" project supported by the NETZ Partnership for Development and Justice.

∎ Overall objective of the TECSAI Project is the economic and social resilience of the poorest population affected by the consequences of climate change in the Ganges-Brahmaputra Basin in India, Bangladesh and Nepal increases significantly and civil society is strengthened to protect and promote the rights of marginalized groups affected by climate change.
∎ "DASCOH Foundation strongly follows ZERO TOLERANCE policy towards Sexual Harassment, Exploitation and Abuse (SHEA) and financial corruption, safeguarding policies (Child protection, adult and staff safeguard) and expects all employees to abide by the Safeguarding Policies and Code of Conduct of the organization".

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Work closely with the project team to develop a comprehensive, actionable field-level implementation plan, including milestones, deliverables, and resource needs.
∎ Efficiently manage field team and resources, ensuring satisfactory progress and successful project outcomes while overseeing team performance.
∎ Coach, mentor, and motivate project team members, stakeholders, and project participants, influencing them to take positive action and accountability for their assigned work.
∎ Prepare and submit regular quality reports (monthly, quarterly, semi-annually, and annually) to authorities. Generate quality event reports for training, seminars, workshops, donor visits.
∎ Visit field regularly and provide constructive field visit feedback to enhance team performance.
∎ Organise, coordinate and facilitate capacity development training, seminar, workshop, local to regional dialogue and learning events.
∎ Establish effective linkage and coordinate with different stakeholders, and communication and liaison with local authorities.
∎ Engaging in local advocacy efforts to ensure equitable access to entitled benefits and resources for the eligible family member of the project participants.
∎ Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability to assume any other specific areas of responsibility assigned by management as needed.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 50 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Knowledge on sustainable livelihoods, consequences of climate change, economic and social resilience, and subsequent Acts/rules.
∎ Extensive working experience with indigenous and marginalized communities.
∎ Able to make efficient plan and optimum utilization of available resources.
∎ Knowledge on general administration and financial management.
∎ Computer literacy on MS Word, Excel, Power point and more.
∎ Able to prepare factual result oriented analytical reports.
∎ Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Bengali.
∎ Able to drive motorcycle with valid driving license.
∎ Willingness to stay at Upazila level.

Salary:
∎ Tk. 52180 (Monthly)
∎ 2.25 festival bonus, PF, Gratuity, Leave Benefit and Insurance as per policy.
