Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Name of Project: “Enhancing Disaster Resilience Capacity of the Monsoon Flood Affected Population of the Sirajganj District in Bangladesh Project ".
∎ Duration of Project: 32 Months/2 Years & 9 Months (April 2026 to December 2026)
∎ Supported by: Oxfam in Bangladesh
∎ Funded by: Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA)
∎ Lead the development and execution of detailed project work plans.
∎ Ensure timely and effective implementation of project activities, in alignment with the project’s objectives and donor requirements.
∎ Coordinate with the project team, partners, and stakeholders to ensure smooth operations.
∎ Team Management:
∎ Supervise and provide guidance to project staff, ensuring a cohesive and motivated team.
∎ Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide capacity-building opportunities for team members.
∎ Develop and manage the project budget, ensuring the efficient use of resources.
∎ Monitor project expenditures and ensure compliance with financial guidelines and donor requirements.
∎ Prepare and submit financial reports as required by MMS, Oxfam and KOICA.
∎ Develop and implement a robust monitoring and evaluation (M&E) framework to track project progress and impact.
∎ Ensure timely collection, analysis, and reporting of data to measure project outcomes.
∎ Conduct regular field visits to monitor project activities and provide technical support.
∎ Establish and maintain strong relationships with government agencies, local communities, and other stakeholders.
∎ Represent MMS in meetings, workshops, and other forums related to project activities.
∎ Ensure effective communication of project progress and achievements to stakeholders and donors.
∎ Reporting & Documentation:
∎ Prepare and submit high-quality progress reports, case studies, and other documentation as required by MMS management and donor.
∎ Document and share best practices and lessons learned from the project.
∎ Identify and manage potential risks to the successful delivery of the project.
∎ Develop contingency plans to address challenges and ensure project continuity.
∎ Ensure that all project activities comply with MMS policies, donor guidelines, and government regulations.
∎ Maintain an understanding of current developments in disaster resilience and incorporate relevant knowledge into the project.
