Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor/ Masters in Accounting/Finance or any relevant subject with minimum second class/division or equivalent GPA/CGPA in all academic examinations

Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 4 year(s)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Self-awareness on BRAC financial systems and policies and orient project staffs for better understanding to comply with financial procedures.
∎ Monitor the project budget and expenditure regularly and variance analysis of budget vs expenditure in line items.
∎ Assist in preparing donor expenditure report with narrative comments and understand donor requirement on expenses reporting.
∎ Submit project procurement requisition and check budget provisions and keep liaison with procurement and admin, logistics for ensuring necessary support for project.
∎ Tracking of project expenses and ensuring proper charging as per budget line items.
∎ Provide monthly payment planning for labor, porter, volunteer at field level and provide necessary fund requisitions at appropriate RO/Branch offices.
∎ Check and verify all commodity logistics transport bills/vouchers, waybills, Challans, as per framework agreement and approved FRN (Food received note) of donor.
∎ Arrange periodical physical count at all DPs after close of each round and document and report the finding.
∎ Accurately complete multiple tasks and activities within the required timeframes.
∎ Prepare receipts payment account, income expenditure account, balance sheet.
∎ Produce high quality analysis and interpretation of variances among budget, forecast and actual costs incurred.
∎ Support the external audit process and liaise with internal and external auditors.
∎ Ensure all logistics and administrative requirement of project.
∎ Undertake financial and accounting activities for projects forecasting, budgeting and reporting. Assist the Project Manager in providing all accounts related information as and when required.
∎ Provide value adding financial services, analysis and support to project manager for taking proper action.
∎ Contribute to the development of a culture of strong financial management throughout the project environment.
∎ Interpret and apply financial policies, guidelines and procedures as and when required.
∎ Work collaboratively with all corporate and branches to continuously review and improve project financial and accounting processes.
∎ Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme’s goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.
