Job Context:
∎ The BACE (Bangladesh Association for Community Education) is a Non-Government, non-profit organization established in 1977 by a group of distinguished individuals concerned with education and human resources development to the disadvantaged people in Bangladesh.
∎ BACE is going to implement a short time project "RICE (Resilience Interventions for Community Empowerment) project." at Jamalpur district from 01st of December 2019 supported by Action Aid Bangladesh. The objective of the project is to resilience of the flood affected people through cash for work, livelihood development and WASH support. Now BACE is looking for an experienced and ambitious staff for the position of Project Officer (PO)-Livelihood to implement its RICE project.
∎ Employment Status: Full-time for 06 month duration
∎ Job Location: Dewangonj and Madergonj upazial of Jamalpur district

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Planning and Project Implementation:
∎ Conduct regular field visits, follow up support
∎ Coordinate and ensure implementation of the project interventions smoothly, effectively and efficiently using participatory experiential learning process.
∎ Supervise and coordinate a team of community mobilizers to deliver activities on time.
∎ Lead at the field level for the beneficiary selection process, following BACE criteria and procedures, and finalizing a verified beneficiary list.
∎ Monitor the expenses in relation to the approved budget and make sure that all expenses are incurred for appropriate and approved purposes and in a cost-effective manner.
∎ Arrange for informal and formal training for staff members and stakeholders / project participants as required.
∎ Collect information from a community level and provide recommendations to the superior.
∎ Cash for work and cash distribution through MMT
∎ Ensure appropriate utilization of project resources, logistics and materials.
∎ Regular monitor of project progress, feedback share and corrective measure
∎ Guide the field staff in collecting and providing data/information as project requirement
∎ Prepare monthly and quarterly reports and assist supervisor in preparing other reports required by government/ donors
∎ Keeping effective close connection with GOs, NGOs, Local govt., CBOs and Vulnerable community.

Additional Requirements:
∎ About 05 year(s) experience in development organization of which at least 03 years' experience on DRR/ livelihood related/ humanitarian response projects and also clear understanding on MMT.

Salary:
∎ Consolidated monthly salary Tk. 30,000 (Thirty thousand) with other admissible allowances as per project criteria.
