Educational Requirements:
∎ Master of Business Administration (MBA)
∎ Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in any discipline from any reputed private/public university (Marketing /BBA/ Science/ Engineering background preferred)
∎ Good English writing, analytical, communication, facilitation and knowledge sharing skills.
∎ Excellent knowledge in MS Office, Outlook, and other software.
∎ He/she should have experience on report preparation, documentation, and powerpoint presentations.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ The Project Officer will lead the field implementation of projects on electric and other higher tier cooking options.
∎ S/he has to assist in conducting different survey/assessments of E-cooking market system.
∎ S/he will assist in understanding the E-cooking business environment, identify challenges and barriers faced by actors, and taking actions in the field following prescribed possible solutions to expand E-cooking market and reaching targeted results.
∎ S/he will actively participate in identification of appropriate SMEs/MSMEs following set of criterions and establish a good rapport with them as per project needs.
∎ S/he will facilitate field level different interventions for developing the capacity of selected E-Cooking SMEs/MSMEs to improve their ideas around increasing sales in the target market and ensure better after sales support.
∎ Actively participate in the session with Energy Enterprise Coach and other consultants and will facilitate the same with targeted E-Cooking SMEs/MSMEs.
∎ S/he will be responsible for strengthening the supply-side of HTCC market in the targeted locations through facilitating tailored capacity development activities, ensure access to financial services and other project interventions.
∎ S/he have to follow up and ensure effective implementation of performance-based financing/ result based financing for the private sector to strengthen the market of HTCC for ensuring project targeted MECA appliances.
∎ S/he has to coordinate with E-Cooking business agencies, partner organization, sector actors of clean cooking, and relevant other stakeholders in regular basis
∎ S/he has to promote and explore opportunities of Gender respect in the E-Coking market.
∎ S/he will organize events with local stakeholders including MECA businessmen, community and business organisations, local government representatives etc.
∎ S/he will provide critical inputs and opinions to the senior management in determining the strategic positioning and work plan of the organization in that region.
∎ S/he will prepare reports of ongoing field level activities with appropriate information in line with the reporting requirement of the project.
∎ S/he will produce and share event reports, & meeting minutes.
∎ S/he will need to attend different workshops/meetings/seminars as required.
∎ S/he will actively work in project documentation related activities.
∎ Endorse and practice all the policies of Practical Action and ensure the implementation of project interventions following standards and complying with all the relevant policies.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 18 to 65 years
∎ At least three years of proven knowledge and experience on clean or modern cooking / electric cooking technologies and local market development
∎ Working experience in working with urban, peri urban and rural communities and local stakeholders will be preferred
∎ Having good expertise on marketing, market mapping, market analysis, E-cooking value/supply chain and market system is mandatory
∎ Have good experience in ICS, MECA, and having good knowledge on E-Cooking will be preferred
∎ Experience of working with different actors in private sectors, local Government institutions and maintaining good coordination
∎ Good interpersonal skills, including the ability to build rapport with government and a broad range of public & private sector and relevant other stakeholders especially in energy sector.
∎ Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and to set priorities.
∎ Good ability to work with a virtual cross-functional team.
∎ Willing and able to travel independently outside station.

Salary: Tk. 55000 - 65000 (Monthly)
