Responsibilities & Context:
∎
∎ The incumbent (he/she) in this position will be responsible for accelerating climate action among the youth groups/organizations, strengthening project initiatives, environmental health, and other project activities mentioned below.
∎
∎ Job Responsibilities:
∎ Support the implementation of climate ventures among the youth of the selected impact area.
∎ The Project Officer will be responsible for identifying youth groups according to the guidelines of the project.
∎ The Project Officer will conduct a thorough assessment, YLO selection, need assessment, etc.
∎ The Project Officer will be responsible for conducting ideathon workshops with the selected youth groups.
∎ The Project Officer will be responsible for transferring assets and follow-up within selected youth groups timely.
∎ Prepare and deliver all types of event/meeting/workshop reports to the respective authority timely and prepare to assist in different reporting and documentation when needed.
∎ Assist in developing IEC and BCC materials.
∎ Ensure achievement of targeted project goals.
∎ The position will prepare a monthly work plan and will provide a monthly progress report to the supervisor.
∎ Ensure regular site visits and follow-ups according to the work plan.
∎ Attend various internal and external meetings, seminars, and workshops that are relevant to the project.
∎ Perform any other related duties or responsibilities that may be assigned by the supervisor or Organization.
∎ Promote green skills, training, workshops, and incubation, and help establish micro businesses.
