Job Responsibilities:
∎ The role of Protection officer involves reinforcing refugees' rights to safety and dignity. He or She will work with community's capacity building in mitigating protection risks, taking local advocacy forward with local authorities and local leaders by facilitating the process for safe& timely access to the various services.
∎ This position also ensures distribution of non-food protection items etc. Moreover, Protection Officer will promote social cohesion to reduce protection risks between host and refugee communities and support safe programming as part of Oxfam's movement.
