∎ Essential 2 years’ experience minimum as a Psychologist
∎ Desirable previous experience with MSF or other NGO’s in developing countries.Good awareness about issues of trauma, displacement, domestic violence, stress and burnout.
∎ Strong risk assessment skills (i.e. management of suicidal ideation)
∎ Diplomatic, good communication skills, collaborative approach.
∎ Organised, flexible and autonomous.
∎ Time Management: reactive, anticipate and manage priorities.
∎ Intercultural open-mindedness (value, interest and openness towards cultural di-versity).

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Accountabilities:
∎ • Provide psychosocial and mental health support for staff individually and in groups
∎ • In coordination with the SEEAP PSU Psychologist and Medco Support, make external referrals for psychiatric and other relevant needs (such as physical health, protection)
∎ • Organize and conduct regular psychosocial/mental health sensitization sessions for staff to raise their aware-ness and understanding about mental health and relevant psychosocial issues
∎ • In case of critical incident or other stressful event, conduct regular group debriefing of front-line staff as re-quested by the Medical coordinator
∎ • Attend team and general staff meetings to promote the PSU services available to staff
∎ • Provide monthly data and reporting regarding their activities
∎ • Liaise and build a professional network with other psychosocial and mental health professionals
∎ • In the case of critical incidents, provide psychological support to staff (including International Mobile Staff if requested)
∎ • Participates to regular clinical supervision sessions and meetings with the SEEAP PSU Psychologist
∎ • Maintain strict confidentiality.
∎ MSF Section/Context Specific Accountabilities:
∎ • Give recommendations to the Psychosocial Unit (OC/SEEAP) and Medical Coordinator about the psychological support
∎ • Engage in regular clinical supervision provided by the Psychosocial Unit (OC/SEEAP)
∎ • Prepares monthly statistics to the Medical Coordinator/SEEAP PSU/OC PSU regarding number of sessions provided and main causes of presentations.
Compensation & Other Benefits:
∎ Salary according to MSF salary grid (Level 7) BDT 78,000, two (2) annual leave days per month worked. Medical insurance for employee and direct dependents.
