Educational Requirements:
∎ Graduation in Psychology
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 3 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Conduct individual and group counseling at different Drop- In- Center (DIC) on regular basis
∎ Provide psycho-social support to overcome mild trauma
∎ Building rapport, liaison and networking with the referral agency (hospitals, clinics, psychiatrists etc.)
∎ Assist the DIC In-Charge to motivate girls towards reintegration, job placement, rehabilitation and socialization process
∎ Prepare weekly and monthly plan and share with the Project Officer/reporting person
∎ Ensure referral and engagement of other service providers
∎ Prepare in-depth case studies and generate reports for further referral and follow up
∎ Refer children to psychologists and other services as required
∎ Maintain files and case stories confidential
∎ Carry out any other tasks assigned by the authority.
Additional Requirements:
∎ At least 3 years of experience in development sector specially with deprived children
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):
∎ General knowledge in specific child counseling areas like; trauma, drugs/alcohol abuse, HIV & school issues etc.
∎ Applicants should have interest to work in a team, in the slum areas of DhakaCity for the purpose of serving the disadvantaged, poor & extreme poor households.
∎ Age 25 to 40 year(s)
∎ Only females are allowed to apply.
∎ Strong understanding of child rights, Gender equality, Child Marriage, Sexual and Gender Based Violence (SGBV) in normal and emergency situation
∎ Ability to communicate with people from different cultures
∎ Proficiency in MS Office tools, including Word and Power Point
∎ Report writing skills.
Salary:
∎ Not above Tk. 13,888.00 per month
