Educational Requirements:
∎ M.Sc / BSc in Engineering (Civil /Water Resources/ Environmental Engineering/Sanitation Engineer from any reputed universities.

Experience Requirements:
∎ 5 to 7 year(s)
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s): Drawing BoQs, Field Coordination, Monitoring and Supervision, Preparation of Design, Reporting
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): NGO, Development Agency

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Ensure successful implementation and effective management of the project activities.
∎ Assist the Project Manager in overall planning, budgeting, implementation and monitoring of the project.
∎ Follow up of WASH facilities Operation & Maintenance, SWM, Composting unit including the Teknaf FSTP.
∎ Design of latrine, female WASH block following Social Architecture approach.
∎ Regular monitoring and supervision of different WASH infrastructures as well as collaborative work with logistic/procurement to support quotations collection, quotation evaluation, contractor selection, contracts signing, orders, work order issue and purchases.
∎ Technical supervision and cross checking of construction materials of WASH infrastructure before installation with specifications, drawing, design quality and quantity.
∎ Responsible for feasibility survey, design, prepare the estimation of quantities and cost detailed drawings and other necessary documents of WASH interventions.
∎ To maintain up-to-date records of all field level activities to show the status of the work, the status of construction materials, equipment at stores and construction sites.
∎ Attend various internal and external meetings regarding engineering topics or issues and respond to questions and inquiries from various individuals, groups, and organizations.
∎ Perform other relevant duties as required for the project as well as the organization.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 40 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Team management- Ability to work under limited supervision – Dynamism - Good report writing Ability- Presentation skills, Computer skills, etc.
∎ Understanding of technical, social, and institutional issues relating to water, sanitation, FSM, waste management and hygiene education.
∎ Practical work experience in WASH sectors with WASH and SWM and work experience in Cox's bazar preferable.
∎ Ability to communicate with people in local language (Cox’s Bazaar)
∎ Capable to design, drawing and estimate Water and Sanitation infrastructures independently.
∎ Experience in preparing project work plan and budget; and implementing projects in different context.
∎ Facilitation and strong interpersonal communication skills
∎ Excellent writing and presentation skill in English
∎ Computer skills (Have strong knowledge of AutoCAD, GIS, MS Office).
∎ Able to plan and priorities tasks, competent to solve problems, promote integrity and aptitude to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
∎ Proven expertise in English (both written and spoken) is essential.
