Job Context:
∎ Fair Pattern Inc. is a recognized provider of Information Technology and professional services catering to major Fortune 500 companies in the Finance, Manufacturing, Education, eCommerce, Retail and Luxury space.
∎ We are currently looking for Python & Kubernetes Developer who will be responsible for all types of standard development and customization. This includes coding, unit testing, building applications, and creating and modifying existing applications. This position will be working collaboratively with client and project teams as well as working from development to deployment and support.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Proficiency with Python and MVC framework (Django, Flask, etc.)
∎ Working experience in frontend framework React/Angular JS
∎ Experience with SOAP and REST service and understanding of SOA architecture
∎ Understanding of databases (Relational, Non Relational) and SQL
∎ Experience with Unix, Git, Postgres, Redis, Node
∎ Have experience on Container Engine like Docker/Podman
∎ Have experience on Container Orchestration like Kubernetes/RH OpenShift.
∎ In depth understanding and experience in at least one of the Kubernetes based Container Platform (Openshift, EKS, GKE)
∎ Good understanding of Kubernetes Deployments (Rolling updates, scale up, scale down), HPA, Node Affinity, metricServer, configmaps, etc.
∎ Understand of one or more of the following CSPs (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform, Oracle, IBM Cloud, etc.)
∎ Exposure to messaging services like Kafka and Rabbit MQ.
∎ Gather, analyse and document functional and technical requirements for new projects, enhancements to existing solutions and production issues reported by end users
∎ Create and execute unit, integration and user acceptance test plans, including use cases and test data
Additional Requirements:
∎ Able to translate business requirements into well-architected solutions
∎ Apply best practices and design patterns in development
∎ Write clean, stable, unit-tested code and documentation where needed.
∎ The developer will be responsible for both Frontend and Backend Functionality.
∎ Develop large-scale web apps with source code control, continuous integration deployment, and documentation.
∎ Be able to plan and deliver the quality project deliverables
∎ Must be good at understanding written English instructions.
∎ Need to communicate well, both in speech and writing.
∎ Need to be creative, organized, and a good problem solver.
