Job Responsibilities:
∎ Responsible for QA data/metrics for Quality Audit, Quality management system develop, Tracks & reports on implementation of Corrective Action Plan.
∎ Review manuals, fulfill brand expectation.
∎ Provide training for QA teammates and suppliers.
∎ To monitor product risk assessment, pre-production meeting.
∎ To communicate buying technical team for technical perspective.
∎ Conduct technical orientation meeting with garment and trims suppliers.
∎ Support to QA team, merchandising and stakeholders to understand QA requirement.
∎ Sampling ways of working, full control sampling, pattern, measurement, fitting and workmanship.
∎ Clear understanding sustainable business certifications and provide certificates once it is required.
∎ Physical testing of garments as-per the requirements. Understanding spectrophotometer procedure and coloro procedure.
∎ Training, motivating, coaching, and correcting employees to ensure that standards are met according to the buyer's expectations.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 40 to 50 years
∎ Minimum 20 years working experience and 15 years of technical background.
∎ Working experience in garment factory and multinational buying house.
∎ Pattern making knowledge and basic shape of pattern, able to rectify pattern.
∎ Must have an understanding of manufacturing production procedure and garment construction.
∎ Understanding of sewing machine characteristic, and knowledge based on machine and fabric.
∎ Sample development knowledge on multi product "Knit, Jersey, Woven" with all type of product range.
∎ Fitting experience on dummy and live model.
∎ Conscious of children safety, as well as product safety.
∎ Able to work under tight deadlines and cope with pressure.
∎ Have a keen interest in fashion and textiles.
∎ Develops, implements, and manages processes to ensure that products meet required specifications for quality, function, and reliability prior to delivery.
∎ Identifies and sets appropriate quality standards and parameters for products.
∎ Communicates quality standards and parameters to QA team, product development team, and other appropriate staff.
∎ Identifies and analyzes issues, defects, and other problems, particularly when problems recur in multiple products; recommends and facilitates solutions to these issues.
∎ Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
∎ Confident and clear communication skills in English both verbal and written.
