Job Context:
∎ We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Radio/Telecommunications Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of radio communication principles, experience with a variety of radio communication equipment, and a proven ability to install and maintain complex communication systems. The candidate who has proven field experience; will get priority, other brands like ZTE, Hytera, L3Harris, Thales & etc. also welcome.
∎ Probation Period: 6 months (Depending on performance)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Conduct thorough site surveys to assess the location of the DMR/ Base repeater installation.
∎ Ensure compliance with local regulations and obtain necessary permits for the installation and operation of the communication equipment.
∎ Inspect all equipment, including the DMR/Base repeater unit, power supplies, antennas, duplexers, cables, and associated hardware to ensure they are in good condition and meet specifications.
∎ Coordinate with relevant regulatory authorities to obtain the necessary frequency allocations and ensure that the chosen frequencies comply with licensing requirements.
∎ Select appropriate assigned equipment based on system requirements, coverage area, and user needs.
∎ Install antennas at appropriate heights and orientations to optimize coverage. Perform antenna tuning to maximize signal propagation.
∎ Ensure a stable and reliable power supply for the equipment.
∎ Implement measures to mitigate interference from other RF sources. This may include frequency coordination, filtering, and shielding.
∎ Develop a comprehensive maintenance plan outlining regular inspection, testing, and preventive maintenance activities to ensure ongoing reliability.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 14 years
∎ Minimum of 3 years of experiences in the Radio/telecommunications industry.
∎ Proven expertise in projects such as the Motorola DMR Turnkey project, Base Station, VHF/UHF base repeater installation & and commissioning, and head-to-head communication Set and walkie-talkie.
∎ Strong technical knowledge of radio communication principles including radio waves and propagation, modulation, and interference
∎ Familiarity with telecommunications & Radio Communication equipment and protocols.
∎ Ability to read and interpret technical specifications and drawings
∎ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
∎ Ability to work independently and as part of a team
