∎ 5 years of professional experience in the areas of research uptake, communication and products development
∎ Strong interpersonal skills with ability to effectively communicate with and coordinate activities of multiple partners, conduct business development and networking and identifying uptake opportunities
∎ Experienced in writing blogs, articles, policy briefs, reports and proposal development with excellent analytical writing skills
∎ Assist in producing high quality products as base to gather more trust, confidence among our clients
∎ Proven track record of timely and quality delivery
∎ Fluency in English with strong oral and written skills

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ ARK Foundation is a leading research organization in Bangladesh, dedicated to generate evidence and promote evidence informed policies and practices for sustainable development in health, education, environment and social sectors to improve quality of life. We work closely with various stakeholders at local, national and international level.
∎ ARK Foundation is implementing a project in a consortium with global partners from South-Asian and African countries and the UK. Research Uptake and Communications (RUC) is one of the essential components of this project. The RUC Manager at ARK Foundation will closely work with the RU manager based in HERD International Nepal, and RU lead in the Consortium. ARK Foundation is therefore seeking a Research Uptake and Communication Manager as a core member of ARK central team, to lead RUC functions representing ARK and the Consortium in the project and organization as a whole.
∎ Research Uptake and Communication Manager will have the overall responsibility of translating evidence generated by the organization to policy uptake and communications by leading the communications and research uptake unit at ARK Foundation and coordinate with the regional RU management for South Asia in the consortium. This position will help to attain objectives by engaging in and supervising communications and research uptake activities, finding opportunities to promote organization and projects products and learnings at various platforms, and facilitating and contributing to the use of evidence by policy makers, researchers, programmers and other stakeholders.
