∎ Age at least 25 years

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Collect blood, urine, stool, swab, and other biological samples from pediatric and adult patients following standard protocols.
∎ Ensure proper patient identification, labeling, and documentation for each sample.
∎ Use child-friendly communication and distraction techniques to calm and reassure young patients and their guardians.
∎ Maintain high standards of hygiene, infection control, and patient safety.
∎ Transport collected specimens to the laboratory in accordance with internal SOPs.
∎ Record and report any difficulties or irregularities in sample collection to the supervisor.
∎ Maintain accurate daily logs of sample collections and incidents.
∎ Ensure all tools and equipment (needles, vials, tourniquets, etc.) are sterile, properly stored, and replenished as needed.
∎ Support doctors, nurses, and laboratory personnel with sample-related queries.
∎ Adhere strictly to hospital policies and national healthcare guidelines
∎ Job Summary: We are looking for a skilled and compassionate Pathology Sample Collector with proven expertise in pediatric sample collection. The ideal candidate must be gentle, efficient, and confident in handling infants and children during blood draws and other sample collection procedures.
