Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Interpret buyer tech packs, specifications, and design sketches for accurate sample development.
∎ Oversee pattern making, grading, and marker planning, ensuring accuracy and production feasibility.
∎ Supervise sewing technicians and sample room staff to ensure timely development of Proto, Fit, Size Set, and Pre-Production samples.
∎ Ensure samples are developed with proper construction techniques and finishing as per buyer requirements.
∎ Collaborate with the merchandising team and directly communicate with buyers/technical teams to clarify specifications and incorporate feedback.
∎ Participate in buyer technical meetings and follow up on comments for fit and construction improvements.
∎ Lead and guide pattern masters, sample operators, and technical teams.
∎ Conduct skill development training for sample operators and technical staff to improve sample quality and speed.
∎ Introduce innovative sample-making techniques to reduce lead time and cost.
∎ Ensure smooth handover of approved samples to the production team with complete technical documentation.
∎ Monitor quality and workmanship of all samples before submission to buyers.
∎ Ensure all sampling activities adhere to buyer quality standards, internal SOPs, and compliance policies.

∎ To lead and oversee the entire sample development process for men's and women's tops/shirts, ensuring accurate interpretation of buyer tech packs, achieving perfect sample fit and construction, and facilitating timely submission of high-quality samples that meet buyer expectations, we are looking a dynamic and responsible “ Sample/R & D In-Charge” for our Paramount Green Garments Ltd. which is a sister concern of Paramount Group.
∎ Job Responsibilities
