Job Context:
∎ DASCOH Foundation is looking for a dynamic School Facilitator for its “Young people at high schools strengthen women`s rights and inclusive governance in Bangladesh” project supported by NETZ Partnership for Development and Justice.
∎ “DASCOH Foundation strongly follows ZERO TOLERANCE policy towards Sexual Harassment, Exploitation and Abuse (SHEA) and financial corruption, safeguarding policies (Child protection, adult and staff safeguard) and expects all employees to abide by the Safeguarding Policies and Code of Conduct of the organization”.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Properly formation of different forum like HRDs, Students group, Theatre group etc. in her/his assigned area
∎ Implement project intervention as per project needs and the direction of management team
∎ Sensitize the community as well as the LGI and line department people on student forums, HRDs, violence against women, advocacy and the democracy of his/her assigned area.
∎ Facilitate Training of HRDs member on Participatory Action Research, conflict Sensitive democratic dialogue and Rights to Information Act
∎ Facilitate local level dialogue and planning meeting in collaboration with government agencies.
∎ Coordination of public events and school activities within the national campaign.
∎ Organise different capacity building events as when required
∎ Collect project data and share with project management for analysis and use
∎ Ensure quality of the implementing activities of the project
∎ Conduct periodic monitoring following standard procedure and reports as per project requirement
∎ Organise information and student fairs and organise folk theatre in her/his jurisdictions
∎ Develop and applied joint action plan to prevent violence against women and conflict sensitivity
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 45 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Knowledge on human rights, women’s rights, domestic violence, child marriage and subsequent Acts
∎ Knowledge on target group selection from ultra-poor communities
∎ Able to drive motorcycle having valid driving licence and frequent field visit.
∎ Willing to live remote areas
∎ Computer literacy on MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint will be added value.
∎ Able to prepare factual reports
∎ Good analytical skill and ability to work under pressure
∎ Awareness and sensitivity regarding gender issues and respect for diversity
Salary:
∎ Tk. 15590 (Monthly)
∎ 2.25 festival bonus, Contributory Provident Fund, Gratuity, Medical Allowance, Travel Allowance, Health Insurance and Leave Benefits will be entitled as per organizational policy.
