∎ Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Mechanical Engineering, Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Industrial Engineering, Diploma in Engineering in Glass
Experience Requirements:
∎ 5 to 10 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Lead and manage the Batch or Batching Plant operations, including raw material handling, weighing, and mixing processes.
∎ Ensure the accurate preparation of batches according to laboratory measurement and ensure quality.
∎ Take steps to ensure the use of high-quality standards of Raw Materials & HSD in the batching plant operation on a continuous basis.
∎ Ensure the proper maintenance and calibration of batch plant equipment to minimize downtime and maintain production capacity. Coordinate with the maintenance team for routine and corrective maintenance activities.
∎ Take steps to develop an acceptable Standard operations Procedure (SOP) and develop a Training Manual in line with to batching process for effective training of operations.
∎ Continuously assess and optimize batch plant processes to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance product quality. Implement best practices and modern manufacturing techniques to achieve operational excellence.
∎ Perform administrative duties necessary for the effective management of the department including the selection and training of employees and budget administration, address labor relations, cost control monitoring and maintaining timely and accurate reporting.
∎ Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, Quality Control, and Production Planning, to meet production goals and resolve any technical issues.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 30 years
∎ At least 5 to 10 years experiences preferably in glass manufacturing plant with focus on Batch Plant
∎ Ability to work under pressure, good interpersonal skills, team-building capacity
∎ Knowledge of safety regulations and compliance standards in a manufacturing environment.
∎ Continuous improvement mindset and a commitment to quality
