Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Work closely with the Director of HR and senior leadership to develop HR strategies that align with business objectives and drive organizational effectiveness.
∎ Lead key initiatives in areas such as workforce planning, talent acquisition, succession planning, and change management.
∎ Ensure HR policies and practices are in alignment with best practices and legal standards.
∎ Oversee recruitment strategies to attract and retain top talent, ensuring alignment with the company’s diversity, equity, and inclusion goals.
∎ Collaborate with department heads to identify staffing needs and support effective onboarding programs.
∎ Implement talent management frameworks that focus on performance, growth, and retention.
∎ Act as a point of contact for employee relations issues, conducting investigations as needed and advising managers on fair and consistent disciplinary practices.
∎ Develop programs to foster a positive, inclusive workplace culture and enhance employee engagement.
∎ Facilitate open communication and employee feedback mechanisms, ensuring transparency and continuous improvement.
∎ Lead the annual performance review process, providing guidance to managers on evaluation methods and goal setting.
∎ Identify skill gaps and collaborate with the Learning and Development team to create training programs that support professional growth.
∎ Coach and mentor managers on effective leadership and employee development practices.
∎ Maintain accurate HR records and oversee reporting for key HR metrics.
∎ Lead initiatives in workplace safety, anti-harassment training, and other compliance-related programs.
∎ Manage and develop an HR team, setting clear goals and providing ongoing feedback and support.
∎ Promote a culture of continuous learning, encouraging the team to stay current with HR trends and best practices.
∎ Act as a role model for company values and foster an environment of respect, integrity, and accountability.
