∎ • MSC/BSC in Food Engineering, Food and Process Engineering Minimum 12 years of experience in Food and Bakery Factory Management.
∎ • Must have experience developing recipes for extruded snacks.

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ • Research and Development in Crackers, Chips, Puffs, Wafer and other extruded snack items.
∎ • Candidate will be responsible for working with machine supplier to develop recipes for top quality snack items.
∎ • Candidate must have considerable experience working on the development of recipes for extruded snack items.
∎ • To execute and monitor production schedule.
∎ • Successful development of innovative puff base extruded products, including Poppers Coconut & Choco Ring, meeting market demands and exceeding quality standards.
∎ • Expertise in crafting tortilla chips that not only meet taste and texture expectations but also achieve substantial reductions in oil consumption, ensuring cost efficiency.
∎ • Proficiency in developing Pellet base chips (single, double, and multi-layer E-series products), contributing to a diverse product portfolio and enhancing market competitiveness.
∎ • Experience in sourcing good quality, low cost raw materials from the local market and from imported sources.
∎ • Leading R&D efforts in diverse product categories, including Puff, Wafer, demonstrating adaptability and expertise across various food segments.
∎ • Develop and implement production plans and schedules based on sales forecasts, customer orders, and production capacity. Coordinate with other departments, such as design, sourcing, and merchandising, to ensure smooth production flow.
∎ • Manage and optimize resources, including manpower, machinery, materials, and production facilities, to achieve production targets and minimize costs. Allocate resources effectively to meet production requirements and resolve resource constraints or bottlenecks.
∎ • Regularly monitor and track production progress, productivity levels, and efficiency metrics. Identify areas for improvement, such as process optimization, workflow enhancements, and automation, to increase production capacity and reduce lead times.
∎ • Lead and supervise a production team, including production managers, supervisors, and line workers. Provide guidance, training, and support to ensure a motivated and skilled workforce. Foster a positive work environment that promotes collaboration, productivity, and continuous improvement.
∎ • Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations and industry standards i.e HACCP and GMP. Implement and enforce safety protocols and practices to protect employees and maintain a safe working environment.
∎ • Monitor production costs and expenses, identify cost-saving opportunities, and implement cost-reduction strategies without compromising quality or efficiency. Analyze production budgets, track expenditures, and report on variances.
∎ • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as design, merchandising, sales, and logistics, procurement to ensure effective communication and coordination throughout the production cycle. Provide regular updates to top management on production performance, issues, and achievements.
