Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor in Engineering (BEngg) in Textile Technology, Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Apparel Merchandising
∎ Masters with great skill of spreadsheet
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 5 year(s)
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):
Buying House, Garments manufacturer, Vendor management
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Coordinate with USA team & any other concerned in order to plan raw materials (Fabric Trims and Accessories) & sourcing as per the requirement.
∎ Should have capacity to handle individual buyer and Team
∎ Should have knowledge on various denim washes along with costing
∎ Follow up washing status with washing plants
∎ Contact QC to get washed fabrics on time
∎ Should have strong sourcing ability (Fabric, Trims & Accessories)
∎ Negotiate, re-negotiate with the different vendors of Fabric, Trims & Accessories.
∎ Source potential suppliers of Fabrics, trims and accessories on regular basis, evaluating suppliers performance & proposals through comparative study and preparation of Purchase Orders;
∎ Should have knowledge on commercial activities related to merchandising activities
∎ Perform any other tasks assigned by the Authority
∎ Work with the fabric mills and suppliers ahead to develop new fabrics & trims and finishes to reduce lead time
∎ Restock fabrics and trims as needed
∎ Find new suppliers of fabrics and trims as required and work with US team to qualify the suppliers
∎ Communicate with factories on lab dip, fabric, sample & prototype submission based on set timeliness
∎ Communicate timelines and challenges with the US team
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 28 to 35 years
∎ Extensive previous experience with Woven Garments (Denim and Non-Denim),
∎ Experience in Denim,washing and woven shirts are encouraged to apply
∎ Experienced in sourcing & managing local suppliers
∎ Ensure quality of incoming goods and inventory process on time
∎ Excellent communication skills in Bangla and English both written and speaking
∎ Should have knowledge on commercial terms and incoterms
∎ Must be Tech Savvy with great skills in spreadsheet
∎ Willingness to work out of the factory in Bogabari Bazar, Ashulia
