∎ At least 4 years of experience in performing similar tasks preferably in international organizations.
∎ Excellent understanding of the Awards Management System from the inception to the closeout of an Award.
∎ Excellent analytical skills – the ability to analyze complex financial data and design and produce effective management information.
∎ Strong budgeting and budget management skills.
∎ Proficiency in computerized accounts packages, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
∎ Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
∎ Ability to manage a complex and diverse workload and to work to tight deadlines.
∎ Ability to contribute to a small, proactive team, motivating staff working collaboratively with colleagues, and providing support and advice as necessary.
∎ Written and verbal fluency in English

∎ The Opportunity
∎ The Senior Officer- Awards in his/her capacity supports the Manager- Awards in the areas of awards management, and donor compliance of the Country Office. The position ensures quality services to clients in line with SCI Policies and Procedures. S/he will assist in preparing analysis, and other awards-related tasks from opportunity till closeout. S/he will provide input and maintain data to Award Management Systems (AMS). S/he will maintain electronic and paper files for each award which include approved budgets, narrative proposals, agreements, amendments, reports (financial and narrative), relevant communications, notes from monitoring meetings, and closeout notes/forms.
