Responsibilities & Context:
∎ 1.     Ensure timely and accurate preparation, management and execution of VAT Challan (Mushak 6.3), Sales Register (Mushak 6.2) and Purchase Register (Mushak 6.1) in compliance with tax laws and regulations and duly submitting to the VAT Office.
∎ 2.     Prepare and maintain Input-Output Coefficient (Mushak 4.3) documents in accordance with tax requirements.
∎ 3.     Process and ensure the proper documentation for VAT payments and refunds.
∎ 4.     Monitor changes in VAT laws and regulations and ensure the company's compliance with applicable tax laws.
∎ 5.     Coordinate with external auditors for tax-related audits and provide necessary documentation.
∎ 6.     Address and resolve any tax-related queries from tax authorities or internal departments.
∎ 7.     Ensure all VAT and tax filings are completed on time to avoid penalties.
∎ 8.     Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual tax returns, ensuring the accuracy of tax data.
∎ 9.     Assist in the preparation of tax reports for management, detailing any variances or issues.
∎ 10.  Work closely with other departments to ensure accurate record-keeping of VAT and tax-related transactions.
∎ 11.  Provide tax advice to internal teams on VAT matters, including how to optimize VAT processes and manage tax liabilities.
