∎ General Functions:
∎ Under overall supervision of Deputy Chief of Mission and the direct supervision of the Head of Migration Data and Research unit and in close coordination with the Senior Regional Displacement Tracking Matrix (DTM) Project Manager in IOM`s Global Data Institute (GDI), the incumbent will support the planning, coordination, and implementation of projects under the unit including DTM REMAP (II). The incumbent will be requested to perform the following tasks:

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Support in implementing the technical and operational aspects of the project DTM REMAP II and migration data and research interventions.
∎ Support the design of methodologies, data collection and data entry tools (including KOBO) for data and research interventions of the project.
∎ Facilitate the integration of gender perspectives and attention to specific women/girls and children's rights issues (vulnerable groups) within interventions of the project and the unit.
∎ Consolidate project progress reports, log frames for relevant donors in close coordination with the DTM Project Manager and IOM Bangladesh PSU unit.
∎ Provide technical guidance to IM and Reporting assistant to conduct data analysis for development of relevant outputs (including dashboards, reports, sitreps and maps) and timely dissemination.

∎ In close coordination with the Unit head and DTM Project Manager, support the production, review, publication and (including DTM interventions) which including (but not limited to) reports, profiles, dashboards, sitreps, maps etc. in line with IOM's global reporting standards.
∎ In close coordination with the Unit head and DTM Project Manager, support with the development and implementation of data and research related trainings and workshops to IOM staff and/or external stakeholders and partners listed in the DTM REMAP project.
∎ Support liaison with relevant authorities, UN agencies, NGOs, think tanks, government
∎ authorities, and other stakeholders on issues relevant to DTM projects. Participate in relevant
∎ meetings where assigned.
∎ Comply with relevant IOM policies, especially on Data Protection and Information and Communications Technology (ICT) standards on data and information security.
∎ Demonstrate commitment to the Prevention of Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (PSEA) and ensure mainstreaming of PSEA in DTM operations.
∎ Provide administrative and logistical support as needed.
∎ Perform such other duties as may be assigned by the supervisor and/or senior management.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Experience in the development and implementation of the Displacement Tracking Matrix (DTM) or
∎ similar assessment and information management activities.
∎ Experience in relevant issues such as migration, displacement, and humanitarian assistance.
∎ Good English writing and communication skills.
∎ Experience in using data analysis software, excel, SPSS, STATA etc.
∎ Experience in information management, reporting, coordination, and analysis of data from large and complex information systems.
∎ Experience to analyze and visualize statistical information.
∎ Ability to compile and holistically analyze diverse datasets.
∎ Skills to analyze and visualize statistical information.
∎ For all applicants, fluency in English is required (oral and written).
