Education:
∎ Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Computer Science & Engineering
∎ Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field

Requirements:

Additional Requirements:
∎ 5+ years of professional software development experience
∎ Strong proficiency in Python (Django/Flask/FastAPI) and/or Java (Spring Boot)
∎ Experience with relational databases like PostgreSQL or MySQL
∎ Familiarity with containerization (Docker) and cloud platforms (AWS/GCP)
∎ Good understanding of software design principles, algorithms, and system design
∎ Solid understanding of RESTful API design, authentication protocols, and secure programming practices
∎ Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
∎ Experience with cross-border payments or fintech systems
∎ Exposure to event-driven architecture (Kafka, RabbitMQ)
∎ Familiarity with CI/CD tools and DevOps practices
∎ Knowledge of front-end technologies (React, Vue.js) is a plus

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Design and develop high-performance, secure, and scalable backend services in Python and/or Java
∎ Architect robust RESTful APIs and microservices to support our mobile and web applications
∎ Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers to deliver end-to-end features
∎ Optimize systems for performance, scalability, and maintainability
∎ Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and contribute to best practices
∎ Mentor junior engineers and help foster a strong engineering culture
∎ Ensure security, compliance, and reliability in all aspects of the code and infrastructure
