Job Responsibilities:
∎ MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB: The Senior Technical Advisor - provides technical assistance for strengthening procurement and logistics management systems of DGHS, DGFP andCentral Medical Store Depot (CMSD)/DGHS. The incumbent will support in expansion of the eLogistic management, electronic Assest management system, electronic TB logistic management system, eTB manager at district and subdistrict level and will need to work directly with District Reserve Stores (DRSs), district hospitals & Sub-district hospitals under DGHS and Central & Regional warehouses and other Family Planning stores under DGFP and TB stores at all levels.
∎ The incumbent will also be responsible for maintaining liaison with the respective government department for implementation of the project activities including the data driven decision making. S/he will take a crucial role on the relevant report writing of the project.
Additional Requirements:
∎ 7+ years of experience in providing technical assistance in supply chain management of health commodities desired.
∎ Significant experience in international public health with at least three years' experience related to contraceptive logistics, health commodity logistics, supply chain strengthening, and pharmaceutical management.
∎ Experience and ability working with senior government officials.
∎ Experience with USAID and other donor agencies desirable.
