Job Context:
∎ Transcom Beverages Limited, the franchisee of PepsiCo in Bangladesh is looking for dynamic and competent engineers to fill the mentioned position for Dhaka Plant-Gazipur, Bangladesh.
∎ The candidate must have in-depth technical skills with clear knowledge on modern sophisticated utility devices, troubleshooting and maintenance works of the plant/industrial establishment. Having expertise on Mechanical Maintenance of Industrial Machineries with FMCG/well established beverages or food manufacturing company.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Responsible for the shift wise Mechanical Maintenance works and functions.
∎ To follow the shift schedule as well as maintenance schedule and maintaining records.
∎ To solve instant problem in running condition of the machines with minimum breakdown.
∎ Primary diagnostics, troubleshooting, modification & repairing malfunction in mechanical system.
∎ Execution of preventive & corrective maintenance of Mechanical System.
∎ Performing routine maintenance of mechanical aspects of manufacturing and utilities equipment’s.
∎ Operation and Maintenance of beverages manufacturing Machines and auxiliary devices.
∎ Operation/Maintenance of Carbonated Soft Drinks (CSD) Line, Syrup & CIP System, Water Line (Aqufina), CO2 Plant & HVAC System.
∎ Maintaining Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) in all phases of trouble shooting & maintenance.
∎ Proficiency in analytical problem solving of modern electro-mechanical system & devices.
∎ Have expertise on report preparation like efficiency, wastage, yield, breakdown, performance of mechanical and utility devices.
∎ Utilize industry best practices, techniques, and standards for Operation/Maintenance of the plant.
∎ Co-ordinate with cross functional team like Electrical, Project, Civil, Production Operation, SCM, Engineering team and related technical teams to identify, defines, and solves departmental or technical problems.
∎ Providing guidance to the subordinate and handle Operators/Technicians/line support staff.
∎ Liaison with professional service providers (Engineers (foreign & local), Suppliers, Technical Experts/OEM etc.)
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 35 years
∎ Minimum 2-3 years' experience as Shift Engineer-Maintenance in the relevant field or food & beverages-manufacturing/FMCG industry.
∎ Having Experience in operation and maintenance.
∎ Must have excellent communication & presentation skills.
∎ Should be an excellent result oriented dynamic team player with strong analytical skill and aptitude.
∎ Should have computer literacy
