Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery(MBBS)
∎ MBBS with FCPS/MD in Radiotherapy / Radiation Oncology (Recognized by BMDC)
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 5 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Responsible to implement total clinical activities of the Oncology department under a Consultant.
∎ Reporting of clinical activities and submit report to the Co-Ordinator.
∎ Working with patients to explain a diagnosis and stage of cancer, discuss treatment options, and assist in managing the side effects and symptoms of cancer and its treatment.
∎ Leading a cancer treatment team of various healthcare professionals.
∎ Coordinating treatment plans and prescribing various types of treatment, including chemotherapy and immunotherapy.
∎ Treating patients with radiation therapy.
∎ Assisting patients with pain management.
∎ Identifying the tumors and determine whether cancer has spread from the original starting point.
∎ Performing basic administrative and clerical tasks, such as keeping records of test results, writing prescriptions, providing cancer information to patients, and monitoring treatment plans.
∎ Any other responsibility assigned by the management
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 34 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Valid medical license
