Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Textile Technology, Diploma in Engineering in Textile Technology, Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Mechanical Engineering
Experience Requirements:
∎ 5 to 8 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ 1. Take Plan from Knitting HOD & Execute all knitting related activities to achieve maximum output though optimum utilization of man, machine & material as per KPI. Overall administration of the knitting floor
∎ 2. Plan & manage all the activities of knitting department assuming responsibility for production Target, correct Quality, Cost & on-time delivery with the help of central planning & knitting team.
∎ 3. Make the SOP’s of machines .Develop & implement training program to staff & workers. Develop & execute a workflow plan as per budgeted target.
∎ 4. Select yarn count, M/C dia, gauge & other parameters as per Fabric SPEC sheet, as per buyer requirements & proceed to floor. Closely work together with RND team & develop the production Eco-friendly knitting structures.
∎ 5. Maintain the KNITTING ORDER on every machines with the fulfill all parameters e.g PO no, yarn count, composition, Dia, GG, Stitch length & knitting plan route should be visible.
∎ 6. In new PO After completion of 1st roll of knitting send A4 size fabric to QA lab to check bursting strength & verify it should be correct as per required STD. & update in system.
∎ 7. Send the 4 rolls from each knitting order from each machine for Grieg inspection & update in system machine wise.
∎ 8. To ensure that Knitting machine should run as per plan with target production.
∎ 9. Develop & implement appropriate maintenance scheduled with the help of maintenance team & closely monitoring is compulsory.
∎ 10. Trained/Motivate the subordinate’s team & Monitor the process at each stage and follow the check points.
∎ 11. Make sure after knitting, the fabric quality should be OK & fix the identification barcode sticker after knitting.
∎ 12. Make sure During knitting, the operator should check the Grieg fabric quality as well to verify online QC.
∎ 13. Make sure After putting Barcode sticker fabric should inspect in QC area & transfer to Grieg ware house.
∎ 14. Make sure & keep record of each & every order process loss should be within the target as per KPI.
∎ 15. Ensure the safe working, Material Handing, Compliance requirements and a good housekeeping all the time. 5S practices to be established & followed up as a mandatory requirement.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Specially worked with Brands machines FUKUHARA, Mayer & Cie, Santoni & other Knitting Machine Brands.
