Educational Requirements:
∎ MBA in Supply Chain Management/ Marketing from Reputed University.
∎ Diploma or Certified course on supply Chain Management will get preference.
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 5 year(s)
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):
Commercial, Export/ Import through L/C, Purchase/ Procurement, Supply Chain
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
Group of Companies, Manufacturing (FMCG), Manufacturing (Light Engineering & Heavy Industry), Multinational Companies
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Sourcing of local Raw materials, Packaging material, Spare Parts, Civil Construction items, Oil & Lubricant, Gas, Hardware & Mechanical Items and Service etc.
∎ Sourcing of new suppliers & sampling, testing and approval for new development.
∎ Based on requisition, collecting quotations (RFQ) by email, price negotiation with vendor, preparing comparison statement in SAP and taking approval from top management to issue Purchase order.
∎ Coordinate & follow up with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery, GR posting by factory & Bill submission to Finance dept.
∎ It is required to go for a regular market visit and prepare visit report on that basis.
∎ Should have sound knowledge about VAT, Tax, AIT etc.
∎ To keep up to date data and information for all purchased materials.
∎ Cross checking with factory about the quantity, quality etc. of received materials.
∎ Updating all types of Contract & Agreement with vendors on timely basis.
∎ Coordinate with others under the same roof and ensure proper feedback related to purchase.
∎ Ensure competent quality execution of all regular purchasing activities.
∎ Handling and monitoring of claims that receives from factory for defectives, shortage, missing parts.
∎ Liaison with Govt. offices as and when required.
∎ Maintain complete update purchasing records/data and pricing in the system.
∎ MIS Reporting, Power point presentation etc.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 30 to 40 years
∎ High proficiency in English (Both written & spoken)
∎ Computer proficiency over MS Word, MS Excel, Power Point etc.
∎ Dynamic, self-motivated and excellent in inter personal skill
∎ Experience of serving at similar position in ceramic company and related field will be an additional advantage.
∎ Experience in SAP MM module will get Preference.
Salary:
∎ Negotiable
