Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Analysis of manpower, monitoring manpower requirement as per the approved manpower plan & subsequent recruitment, selection & placement.
∎ Ensure retention of the best talent, performance management of overall talent, and enhance the performance-driven culture.
∎ Orchestrated integrated workforce management, overseeing strategic recruitment, talent acquisition, onboarding, and skill development to support the growth plans of startups and business expansion.
∎ Develop and execute strategic sourcing plans to attract skilled workers and staff.
∎ Use direct sourcing methods like factory visits, referrals, networking, and industry contacts to find candidates.
∎ Conduct market intelligence to understand salary trends, competitor workforce strengths, and talent availability.
∎ Ensure all recruitment practices comply with labor laws and company policies.
∎ Verify candidates' previous employment history, skills, and experience.
∎ Maintain a database of skilled workers for future hiring needs.
∎ Work closely with the production team to understand workforce gaps.
∎ Identify and recruit machine operators, technicians, mechanics, and other technical staff from competing or similar RMG factories.
∎ Lead employee relations and engagement activities under the supervision of the Head of HR.
∎ Manage employee relations functions in the plant, including all issues related to employee grievances, disciplinary actions, conflict resolution, and conduct employee satisfaction surveys.
∎ Ensure the disciplinary inquiry process is conducted according to the Bangladesh Labor Law.
∎ Facilitate pulse surveys/happiness surveys, or other surveys when required.
∎ Handle routine labour relations and human resources inquiries related to policies, procedures, and bargaining agreements; refers complex matters to appropriate management staff. Performance Appraisal:
∎ Develop, implement, and maintain the performance management system, ensuring it aligns with the organization's goals and objectives.
∎ Lead the annual performance review cycle, including goal setting, mid-year reviews, and year-end evaluations.
∎ Identify and implement best practices in performance management.
∎ Stay updated on industry trends and innovations in performance management systems and processes.
∎ Any other task assigned by the Department Head.
