Job Responsibilities:
∎ The primary focus of this role is to develop the best solutions and services to facilitate larger application teams to onboard DevOps tooling/methodologies, fostering a robust and reliable platform and pushing for operational excellence with the larger groups, such as:
∎ Create tooling, services to improve developer experience, facilitating self-service and self-sufficiency
∎ Automate and streamline processes to reduce manual and toil works
∎ Understand, and promote for operational excellence culture by applying standardization, operational governance
∎ Set up proactive monitoring to ensure our environment stability, risk mitigation, and cost reduction
∎ Work with cross-functional stakeholders for infrastructure management, incident management, prod issue analysis, and solution identification
∎ Assist with onboarding and facilitating the applications to the automated continuous pipeline framework and DevOps tooling/methodologies
∎ Provide various administration, maintenance, migration, upgrade, and support activities on various Infrastructures (Tools, Database, Servers, scripts, etc.).
∎ You get to play with the latest technologies in the AWS Cloud and keep your skills current while you innovate
∎ Work directly with stakeholders to participate in all aspects of the SDLC
∎ Take ownership of infrastructure and operations such as scheduling or running jobs
∎ Wear many hats and fill in for other roles as necessary similar to being in a start-up
∎ First-line to investigate issues and troubleshoot
Additional Requirements:
∎ 5+ years of overall IT experience
∎ 3+ years of experience in DevOps or SRE
∎ Solid understanding and expertise of UNIX/Linux echo systems (RPM and Debian based OS)
∎ Solid understanding and practical experience of software development life cycles (Agile)
∎ Experience with building/deploying/managing AWS on an enterprise-level
∎ Expert in scripting (Python, Bash, or similar languages)
∎ Experience with container orchestration tools (Kubernetes)
∎ Proficient with configuration management tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar tools)
∎ Proficient with software configuration management tools (GIT or similar tools)
∎ Proficient with creating CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins or similar tools)
∎ Experience using/creating build tools (Maven, Gradle, setup.py, or similar tools)
∎ Excellent customer service attitude, communication skills (written and verbal), and interpersonal skills
∎ Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
∎ BSc in engineering/computer science or equivalent
