Job Context:
∎ Job Context: Social Assistance and Rehabilitation for the Physically Vulnerable (SARPV) is a non- government, non-political, Bangladeshi organization under its Health & Nutrition program providing lifesaving health& nutrition support to the host community people of Cox`s Bazar. As part of its Health & Nutrition interventions in support with WFP SARPV is implementing "Improving maternal & child nutrition program at host community "
∎ Overall Objective: The storekeeper is responsible for the maintenance of a department`s/organization`s storeroom, performing activities such as stocking of operational materials and supplies, inventory control and records to maintain process & methodologies and related duties as required to ensure effectively implementation of the IMCN Program at host community.
∎ Employment Status: Contractual, until 31st December, 2022 (Renewable)
∎ Job Location: Pekua, Cox`s Bazar.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Main Duties & Responsibilities:
∎ 1: Receiving requisition from the program team for distribution:
∎ Receiving requisition from the program team for food to be distributed in field/CNC level.
∎ Prepare way bill/delivery note for transportation of materials from project warehouse.
∎ 2: Preparing Transport for the distribution of the product:
∎ Communicate with the local transport vendor for the availability of the vehicles needed to transfer the materials/food from SARPV project warehouse to field/CNC level.
∎ Communicate with Logistics officer for requisition as per need of WSB++ & WSB+ to be transport minimum one month ago.
∎ Communicate with Logistics officer for requisition as per need of Nonfood items to be transport minimum one 15 days ago.
∎ Managing the loading and unloading of the materials from the pickup point and the distribution point.
∎ 3: Check the quality of the received goods & items:
∎ Examine the deliveries: quantity, quality, documentation.
∎ Report to the line managers about details of receiving information after received any materials & food from the WFP as well as any challenged.
∎ 4: Reporting:
∎ Monthly stock report Prepared (food, Non-food & oil items) within end of the day for each month and will submit to Logistics Officer by 1st working day of next month. If any month 1st working day at holyday than report will submit before holyday.
∎ Warehouse information input into the soft copy in daily basis.
∎ Monthly physical Inventory report prepared end of the day each month and will submit to Logistics Officer by 1st working day of next month.
∎ To prepare & maintain master roll for any logistic item distribution.
∎ To be well aware about all program & logistic reporting tools & must be archived in shelf at warehouse.
∎ 5: Control
∎ Control and follow up of distribution and consumption of food products & medications (if available) in the center and ensure adequate supplies through LO.
∎ Ensure adequate stock levels are maintained at the facility level warehouse.
∎ Check the appropriate use of nutrition equipment, materials & supplies in the center and identify the need for repair or replacement of them if they are out of order.

∎ 6: Stock and warehouse management:
∎ Managing the stock for the stores/warehouses under this project.
∎ Ensure the warehouse is following standard for food items and nonfood items
∎ Taking effective initiative for pest control, fumigation and cleanliness of warehouse with consulting line manager.
∎ Ensure capacity buildup of all supervisee staff through on job training.
∎ 7: Damage/loss:
∎ Damage/Loss report prepared when any damage/loss occurred in the CNC or warehouse.
∎ Damage/ loss entry in the stock book according to loss report.
∎ Inform to logistics officer about damage/loss within twenty-four (24) hours.
∎ Take necessary Steps processing damage/loss according to Logistics officer decision.


∎ 8: Coordination;
∎ To maintain better coordination with line manager, other colleagues & seniors
∎ To maintain better coordination with the donor parties.
∎ To maintain better & effective coordination with the suppliers
∎ To maintain proper, liaise with any vendor or stakeholders

∎ 9: Other's responsibility
∎ To be obeyed additional Tasks delegated by the Line Manager.
∎ Provide support as and when requested as per program need in any time or day.
∎ To ensure the CNC visit at field level for monitoring the supplied food, noon food & asset items.
∎ To ensure the support for any logistic material for meeting, training & any event accordingly.
∎ To ensure the IEC materials in warehouse which is donor recommended.
∎ To ensure the information to the line manager or respective supervisor for receiving any items from the supplier.
∎ To assist the program to conduct the physical inventory at monthly basis.
∎ To ensure the well record & documentation for any reporting issue.
∎ Oversee the handling of freight, the movement of equipment, and minor repairs
∎ prepare materials and equipment for disposal, transfer, or auction.
∎ Must be maintained SARPV's procurement, HR, gender, PSEA & other's policy accordingly.

Additional Requirements:
∎ At least 3 year's Professional experience in Logistics preferred, out of that minimum 1 years' experience in field of food distribution project will be highly desirable.
∎ Advance training on logistics/storekeeper is highly preferable.
∎ Ability to work flexibly including weekends and willingness to travel and work in rural locations and live in basic conditions.
∎ Good communication and presentation skills
∎ Language: Must be proficient in English and Bangla in both writing and speaking
∎ Excellent computer skill (Microsoft office: Word, Excel and Power point).
∎ Competency: In Microsoft excel, word, Power Point and internet browsing for the basic communication.

Salary:
∎ Monthly Salary 40,000/- Taka.
