Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Lead the bio-chemical ETP operation with a capacity of 200 m3/hr. & WTP operation.
∎ Monitoring & Maintaining optimum MLSS, MLVSS, SVI, F/M ratio in the biological aeration tank.
∎ Regular check the DO, Ph level & bacterial count in the aeration tank & take appropriate action for any troubleshooting.
∎ Ensure optimum dosage of chemicals & nutrients based on wastewater characteristics according to jar test.
∎ Ensure effective & continuous return of activated sludge from the secondary clarifier tank.
∎ Daily check the Inlet & Outlet wastewater parameters and report it to the concerned authority.
∎ Regularly maintain ETP log sheet for inlet, outlet water quantity, reuse percent, electricity & chemical consumption etc.
∎ Requisition of ETP chemical, nutrient & equipment needed for ETP.
∎ Maintain the ETP maintenance schedule & coordinate with other departments for any emergency situation.
∎ Any other task related to ETP assigned by the authority.
