Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Tandoor Cooking: Prepare and cook a variety of tandoor-based dishes, including naan, roti, tandoori chicken, kebabs, and other grilled specialties.
∎ Preparation & Marination: Prepare and marinate meats, seafood, and vegetables as per the restaurant’s recipes and standards.
∎ Oven Management: Operate, clean, and maintain the tandoor oven, ensuring it is always in proper working condition.
∎ Quality Control: Ensure all dishes meet the restaurant’s quality, taste, and presentation standards before serving.
∎ Inventory Management: Assist in managing inventory and maintaining adequate stock levels of ingredients and supplies.
∎ Food Safety & Hygiene: Adhere to food safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized work area at all times.
∎ Team Collaboration: Work closely with other chefs and kitchen staff to ensure smooth and efficient kitchen operations.
∎ Menu Development: Contribute ideas for new tandoor dishes and assist in the development of seasonal or special menus.
