∎ Able to check panicle initiation checking capable, roughing, quality control, motivation of farmer, data collection, Reporting of block activities
∎ Must have practical knowledge on hybrid rice seed production technology
∎ Able to work under any field condition
∎ Must have knowledge on documentation in register properly as per provided formats
∎ Must have knowledge of MS word, excel and internet browsing
∎ Have to work under pressure

Requirements:
Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Supervise 25-30 acres production block and execute production plan as on schedule
∎ Select suitable land / block, complete deed with contract grower / land owner and prepare block layout
∎ Organize farmer’s meeting, season wise farmer’s training / orientation, follow-up minimum 8-10 farmers and their plots in a day
∎ Ensure seedbed and apply irrigation before 8-10 days of seeding and prepare main field finally 1 day before transplanting
∎ Ensure water management, fertilizer application, pest management, GA3 application and supplementary pollination
∎ Identify farmer’s /plot problem and report submit to sector specialist (Seed production)
∎ Produce 98% genetically pure and quality seed through rouging, planting R line seedling at 5' area
∎ Confirm barrier hanging on time before flowering of others rice varieties
∎ Prepare action plan of harvesting according to chatal capacity
∎ Check farmers’ lot wise sample before weighting of seeds for avoiding admixture and seed purchase at 12% moisture content
∎ Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme's goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so
∎ Perform any other duties as and when assigned by the respective authority
