Job Context:
∎ DASCOH Foundation is looking for a dynamic Technical Coordinator (TC) for "Combating impacts of climate change in severely affected areas of Bangladesh (TECSAI)" project supported by the NETZ Partnership for Development and Justice.
∎
∎ Overall objective of the TECSAI Project is the economic and social resilience of the poorest population affected by the consequences of climate change in the Ganges-Brahmaputra Basin in India, Bangladesh and Nepal increases significantly and civil society is strengthened to protect and promote the rights of marginalized groups affected by climate change.
∎ "DASCOH Foundation strongly follows ZERO TOLERANCE policy towards Sexual Harassment, Exploitation and Abuse (SHEA) and financial corruption, safeguarding policies (Child protection, adult and staff safeguard) and expects all employees to abide by the Safeguarding Policies and Code of Conduct of the organization".
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Coordination of all local and regional Human Rights Defender groups.
∎ Regular visits of Civil Society Organization and high schools.
∎ Coordination of dialogue meetings between civil society and authorities.
∎ Coordination of direct assistance in human rights violations.
∎ Communication with authorities and service providers.
∎ Management and monitoring of Field Facilitators- Human Rights.
∎ Prepare analytical report.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 50 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Sound knowledge on climate vulnerability, economic and social resilience, human rights especially the rights of the marginalized community and subsequent Acts/rules.
∎ Expertise in the area of Training Need Assessment (TNA), Manual/Module/Key note development and training/workshop facilitation.
∎ Computer literacy on MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
∎ Able to prepare factual result oriented reports
∎ Able to drive motorcycle with valid driving licence.
Salary:
∎ Tk. 41560 (Monthly)
∎ 2.25 festival bonus, PF, Gratuity, Leave Benefit and Insurance as per policy.
