We are a world leader in making markets work for the poor as well as the longest-established market development specialist NGO in Bangladesh. iDE believes that markets can be a powerful force for improving smallholder prosperity by creating income and livelihood opportunities for poor rural households. iDE Bangladesh currently has eight projects in Agricultural Markets, Water Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH), and Climate and Environment focusing on rural entrepreneurship and private sector engagement
∎ iDE Bangladesh is looking for an experienced and skilled professional for the role of Technical Specialist- Clean Energy Sector Development under the CCSU Bangladesh Project. The overall objective of the CCSU project is to promote the sales and utilization of 51,000 eCook Cookstoves in Bangladesh through an inclusive business model, which will result in 100,000 tCO2-equivalent GHG emissions reduction per year and improve the livelihoods of 2,000 women and youth engaged in the Clean Energy Technology (CET) sector. This position holder will be responsible for providing technical support to the CCSU project team and the Project Manager for designing and piloting interventions on new technology and innovation in the clean energy sector. She/He will also design, plan and execute various research on various Renewable Energy Technologies. He will be a part of the Dhaka Project Team and report to the Project Manager.
